Jesus, in his first sign at Cana, foreshadows the blood He will give on the cross to foreshadow the Salvation He provides.

The Holy Spirit descends upon Jesus while in prayer as he was Baptized. We, too, should “pray without ceasing” as Saint Paul tells the Thessalonians, so we may better learn how the Spirit marks our lives for the ministry God has set before us.
